Every summer night in stadiums across our country the game is played. Nine players to a side, ninety feet to first base, a homerun if you hit the ball out of the park. But these games and players are not well known. They ride busses, eat in fast food restaurants, and get paid a whole lot less than the players who have moved up to the big leagues and left the minors behind.
The Bible has its own version of the minors. Twelve guys who spoke for God and often prophesied of the future. But the books bearing their names are typically brief, thus the "minor" designation.
